Section 1: THE BIBLE
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the
Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired Word of God (2Tim
3:16-17). We hold the Bible to be inerrant in the original writings,
infallible, God breathed, and the complete and final authority for
faith and practice (2Tim 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit was the divine
author of Scripture (2Pet 1:21). While still using the individual
personalities of the human authors, the Holy Spirit superintended them
to insure that they wrote precisely what he wanted written, without
error or omission.

The bible declares that we all have sinned and fall short of the glory
of God. (Romans 3:23) That sin now separates us (man) from God and
sentences us to death, eternal separation form God. There is good news
in this because while we have sinned and are sentenced to death God has
made a way for us to receive forgiveness for our sin and have
fellowship with Him thru His son Jesus.

My Pastoral journey began in 2001. When my wife Sabrina and I were serving at Calvary Chapel Eastside
in Bellevue, WA, working with the Jr. High youth group. Sharing the
word of God and seeing the hearts of our youth grow in the Lord gave me
a passion for teaching the word of God. Growing in the word myself and
closer to Jesus, I surrendered all to Him and prayed, “here I am Lord
use me as you see fit.” To my surprise He took me up on my offer and
said to me I want you to go to Omak, WA.

The History of Calvary Chapel Okanogan Valley began in 2001. When Pastor Ken and His wife Sabrina and were serving at Calvary Chapel Eastside in Bellevue, WA, working with the Jr. High youth group. Sharing the word of God and seeing the hearts of the youth grow in the Lord gave Pastor Ken a passion for teaching the word of God. Feeling called to the Omak area. He and His wife and that time three children left Bellevue, Washington and moved to Omak, Washington. Shortly after moving they started a bible study in their home and on Easter Sunday 2002 we had our first Church service. Currently our Church is located at 101 4th Ave W in Omak, WA.
