My Pastoral journey began in 2001. When my wife Sabrina and I were serving at Calvary Chapel Eastsidein Bellevue, WA, working with the Jr. High youth group. Sharing theword of God and seeing the hearts of our youth grow in the Lord gave mea passion for teaching the word of God. Growing in the word myself andcloser to Jesus, I surrendered all to Him and prayed, “here I am Lorduse me as you see fit.” To my surprise He took me up on my offer andsaid to me I want you to go to Omak, WA.

Growing in the word myself andcloser to Jesus, I surrendered all to Him and prayed, “here I am Lorduse me as you see fit.” To my surprise He took me up on my offer andsaid to me I want you to go to Omak, WA. Resisting at first, after allmy wife and I did have it made. We were part of a great church, lovingministry team who supported us and mentored us, a group of youth who weloved deeply, a church full of friends, a great job that meet all ourneeds. Why rock the boat? However, I could not get over the fact the Iheard my Lord's voice and decided to test to see if it truly was fromHim. Through several confirmations and hours of prayer later we leftBellevue, WA. We started a Bible study in our house several monthsafter we moved and within a month we had about all the people ourliving room could handle. On Easter Sunday 2002 Calvary Chapel OkanoganValley had its first gathering as a fellowship. Since our beginning ourLord Jesus who rose from the dead, has been manifesting His power in usand through us. Today as a church body our prayer is to be surrenderedto Jesus and yielded to the Holy Spirit that He may use our fellowshipas He sees fit in these last days!

How is your journey?

Are you in the word of God, growing in the things of the Lord. Thetruth is He has a plan and a purpose for you! Finding that plan beginswith surrendering your whole heart to Jesus Christ who Loved you enoughto die for your sins while you could care less, and desires today tohave a personal relationship with you. You were created by an awesomeGod who wants to do awesome things in and through you.

In His love,

Pastor Ken Kinzle
